Former Investigations and Governance Officer of the Labour Party’s Governance and Legal Unit and Chair of the Labour Party’s BAME Staff Network. Whistleblower on Al Jazeera’s three-part series ‘The Labour Files’.

Lifelong anti-Racism activist who decided to whistleblow against the Labour Party, to expose high-levels of corruption and interference within British democracy. The mission was to exemplify how the British establishment works on a hierarchy of racism, where issues of Islamophobia, Anti-Black racism, and other forms of discrimination are seen as of lesser importance comparatively to how the state and its political factions treat Antisemitism – findings supported by the ‘The Forde Inquiry,’ pushed for by the BAME Staff Network.

Embarking on a new journey to reignite passions for activism through art and music explicitly and unapologetically, after years of being gagged into political correctness – liberation begins with our voice.

The Labour Files

The Purge

by al Jazeera Investigations

An investigation based on the largest leak of documents in British political history. The Labour Files examines thousands of internal documents, emails and social media messages to reveal how senior officials in one of the two parties of government in the UK ran a coup by stealth against the elected leader of the party. The program will show how officials set about silencing, excluding and expelling its own members in a ruthless campaign to destroy the chances of Jeremy Corbyn becoming Britain’s prime minister. Candidates for key political roles were blocked and constituency groups suspended as the party’s central office sought to control the elected leadership.

Labour officials laughed after learning that a member expelled for alleged anti-Semitism had died.

The callous incident is revealed in Saturday’s episode of The Labour Files, the second of a new three-part series by Al Jazeera’s investigative unit.

Former Labour investigations officer Halima Khan fights tears as she recounts the story, saying she blamed herself.
